Designation: Software Engineer - Kolkata

Job Description: Work as part of a team developing application software within the domain of storage systems management. Responsibilities include development, maintenance and documentation of storage management software. This includes development level testing before handing over to product test teams. Also needs to interact and coordinate with US teams to successfully bring products to market.

Desired Profile
Bachelor of Science Degree: EE or ECE or CS degree
2-5 years of experience in Application Software programming
Knowledge of APIs, XML, HTML, Java, Java Swing, C , C++, UML & OO methodologies
Knowledge of OS internals, data structure, Memory Mgmt etc. are mandatory
Familiar with software debug tools
Understanding of version control systems
Strong reasoning and complex problem solving skills and creativity
Solid programming skills, strong in coding
Strong self starter
Proven written and verbal communication skills

Desired:
Experience with RAID, SCSI, SATA, SAS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel storage technology.
Experience in data storage or networking technologies
Experience with systems and storage management
