HAL requires young, bright and dynamic manpower Engineers
for its Divisions at Koraput

Assistant Engineers in the Discipline of( BE/ B.Tech(Mech/ Prodn/ EEE/ ECE/ Industrial/
CSE/ Rubber & Plastic/ Civil/ Metallurgy/ CE)) – 150 posts (approx.)

Eligibility:
Graduates in any of the following Branches of Engineering from any recognized Institution / University with a minimum 60% marks in the aggregate of all semesters for General / OBC candidates and a minimum of 50% Marks in the aggregate of all semesters for SC / ST candidates / Corresponding CGPA Ratings / Gradations are eligible to apply.
Or
First Class (60% Marks) Degree in any of the following Branches of Engineering as awarded by the University / Institute in respect of General / OBC candidates (Second Class (50% Marks) in respect of SC/STs) are eligible.

Qualification Requirement

Candidates who have passed Degree in Engg in the Branches specified above and obtained the prescribed percentage of marks as on the last date prescribed for receipt of application need only apply. Candidates who have appeared in their final year or whose results are awaited need not apply.

Age Limit: Upper age limit is 28 years as on 01.10.2006 for general candidates.

Application Fee: Internal Candidates and Candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from Application fee. Candidates belonging to General/ OBC category (other than PWD) are required to furnish an Application fees of Rs. 200/- (non-refundable) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Koraput Division payable at State Bank of India, Sunabeda –Koraput, ORISSA. Application fee in any other form will not be accepted.

Remuneration:
Selected Candidates will be appointed in Grade-I in the Scale of Pay of Rs. 6550-200- 11350 (Pay Scales are due for revision from 01.01.2007). Besides the Basic Pay, the selected candidates will be eligible to get other benefits such as DA, Accommodation/HRA, PF, Incentive, Gratuity, LTC / LTA, Group Insurance, Magazine Allowance, Washing Allowance, Canteen Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance,Conveyance reimbursement, Professional Development allowance, Leave encashment etc. Total monthly emoluments at the minimum of the scale presently works out to be Rs.11, 750/- approximately.

Selection Procedure:
Short-listed candidates will be called for competitive written examination. Instructions regarding examination will be intimated to the short-listed/eligible candidates individually by e-mail. Candidates short-listed based on the performance in the written examination will be called for personal interview. Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for attending the test and no travelling allowance will be paid. However, Candidates, attending for Personal Interview will be paid Travelling Allowance.

General Conditions:
Only Indian Nationals need apply. HAL reserve right to increase / decrease the specification depending upon the response. Mere submission of application will not entail right for claiming employment. Applicants serving in Government/Public Sector, Semi-Government Organizations should apply through proper channel or produce “ No Objection Certificate” at the time of interview. Canvassing in any form or bringing outside influence will be a disqualification. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to receipt of satisfactory Medical Report from the Company’s Doctor as per the standards prescribed by HAL and verification of Caste, Character and Antecedents from the concerned Authorities as per the rules of the company. Application received in any format other than that prescribed in the websites, applications received after due date and incomplete applications will not be entertained. Decision of HAL Management regarding selection will be final. Further, HAL reserves the right to fill up or otherwise any or all the notified post.
