Qualifications : For Deck Cadet : B.E./B.Tech (Electrical, Electronics, Civil & Instrumentation Engineering) Candidates passed with 60 % marks in group only ( Gen & OBC) and 50% in group only ( SC/ST) will only be considered for All India written examination. Candidates who appeared for Final Year Examinations and expecting result, with prescribed percentage of marks, may also apply. However, they should produce proof of above percentage on or before interview. However, meeting the minimum criteria of marks will not entitle the candidates to be called for written test. The corporation reserves the right to increase the % of marks in case of receipt of more number of applications.

Age Limit:  Not exceeding 24 years as on 31-03-2008 for General candidates. Age is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates.

Interested candidates, may visit dci web site at www.dredge-india.com and down load prospectus, Syllabus for All India written test model paper, training details, details of AIDC Scheme, proforma of the bond and application form. The duly filled in applications (in triplicate) in all respects may be forwarded to THE MANAGER (HR) (TRG), DREDGING CORPORATION OF INDIA LIMITED, “DREDGE HOUSE”, PORT AREA, VISAKHAPATNAM-530 035 along with a DD for Rs. 100/- (non-refundable)(SC/ST candidates are exempted from payment) drawn in favour of DCI, PAYABLE AT VISAKHAPATNAM. LAST DATE FOR RECEIVING THE APPLICATIONS WILL BE 31-05-2008. The corporation will not be responsible for any postal delays. DCI reserve the right to accept the applications against this advt. Corporation also reserve the right to cancel the advertisement at any stage.
