Job Description
Under general supervision, evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering principles and techniques to assigned business problems. Ensures that results meet established needs and goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1.Develops, designs, and implements plans, processes and procedures utilizing standard engineering principles to complete assignments. Works on part of a major project or independently on smaller projects. Uses judgment in making adaptations or modifications.
2.Monitors the performance of products or operations. Analyzes data and recommends changes to improve quality, reliability or efficiency. Assists in implementing long-range improvement plans.
3.Solves problems related to projects or operations. Provides technical assistance as is necessary. Performs hands-on activities such as build, test, repair product and equipment as necessary. May conduct such activities at customer sites in the field.
4.Conducts assigned research projects. May occasionally direct technicians in research applications. Ensures that work is completed within budgetary and time constraints while meeting customer and contractual demands.
5.Conducts cost analysis to determine the feasibility of proposed changes. Reviews alternatives to reduce costs without sacrificing quality.
6.May prepare or review product documentation, written instructions or technical literature for accuracy and completeness.
7.Performs related duties as assigned.

Desired Profile
1.Bachelor Degree in Engineering, emphasis in Mechanical or related engineering discipline.
2.0-3 years related engineering experience, including demonstrated ability to utilize engineering principles to solve business problems. Coop or Internship experience taken into account for new graduates.
3.Pro-Engineer experience required.
4.Knowledge of Hydraulic Control Systems and their application preferred.
5.Travel up to 20%.
