BECOME OF SHORT SERVICE COMMISSIONED OFFICER IN THE INDIAN NAVY TO FINAL YEAR STUDENT (7th sem) OF ENGINEERING COURSES UNDER UNIVERSITY ENTRY SCHEME : AUG 2008 COURSE

Educational Qualification : Applicant should be studying in a AICTE approved College/Institution with one of the following disciplines and should have obtained a minimum of 60 % aggregate marks till pre final year (VI semester): -
( a ) Engineering Branch (i) Mechanical (ii) Marine (iii) Aeronautical (iv) Production (v) Metallurgy
( b ) Naval Architecture Cadre (i) Naval Architecture (ii) Civil (iii) Mechanical (iv) Metallurgy (v) Aeronautical
( c ) Electrical Branch (i) Electrical (ii) Electronics (iii) Tele Communications (iv) Instrumentation (v) Instrumentation and Control (vi) Electronics and Instrumentation (vii) Electronics and Communication (viii) Power Engineering (ix) Control System Engineering.
Note: Candidates in their last semester (i.e, eighth semester) or qualified their BE / B.Tech degree are not eligible for this entry and need not to apply.
