POWERGRID invites application from Engineering Graduates for induction of 163 Executive Trainees in POWERGRID in the pay Scale of Rs.11225-17250 (IDA) and 46 Assistant Manager (Technical) in Delhi Transco Limited in the Pay Scale of Rs.7750-14500 (CDA).

1. Executive Trainee : 163 posts (Electrical-118, Electronics & Telecommunication-20, Civil-25)
Age Limit : 28 Years as on 18/12/2007
Qualification : Full time B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) degree/ AMIE in respective discipline from a recognized university/ Institution with minimum 65% marks. Final year/semester students, who expect their results by 31/07/2008 can also apply, provided they have obtained at least 65% marks taking average of all semesters upto pre-final examination. Candidates with AMIE may apply only if they have cleared both Section A&B with not less than 65% marks.

2. Assistant Manager (Technical) : 46 posts (OBC-1,SC-1)
Age Limit : 28 Years as on 18/12/2007
Qualification :
- B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc (Engg.) degree/ AMIE in Electrical discipline from a recognized university/ Institution.
- Candidates with AMIE may apply only, if they have cleared both Section A & B.

Selection Process : Selection will be through written Interview and GD.

Fee : a fee of Rs. 400/- through a Bank DD in favour of “Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.” payable at New Delhi for from SBI only for General and OBC candidates only.

On submission of valid application, the system will generate ‘Resume’ with registration number, which has to be downloaded, printed, signed, photograph affixed and sent to Power Grid through ordinary post to the Manager (HR), Recruitment. Post Bag No. -27, Okhla Industrial Estate Post Office, New Delhi-110020 along with Demand Draft in an envelope superscribed “Application for the post of __________” so as to reach latest by the Last Date.
