Agiliance is currently looking for hard working, talented, dedicated, intelligent B.Tech / BE Computers or MCA trainees graduated in 2007 or 2008 ONLY for its India Development Center located in Cyber Towers, Madhapur Hyderabad.

Agiliance is first to deliver an integrated platform to manage the interdependent disciplines of IT Governance, Risk and Compliance.

Agiliance enhances IT Governance by helping IT support the organization’s strategic goals, define and manage security policies, measure and manage IT risk, lower compliance costs, and achieve and maintain sustainable compliance with industry mandates, government regulations and internal policies.

Agiliance is headquartered in San Jose, California and is backed by renouned investors such as Intel, Walden International, SVIC, and Red Rock Ventures.

2007-2008 Freshers - B.Tech/BE Computers or MCA Graduates to work on Java, J2EE, AJAX, Hibernate Technologies.

Skills: Java, JDBC, JSP/Servlets, SQL, Oracle, Linux
Experience: 0 to 1 yr ( 2007 and 2008 graduates of B.Tech / BE Computers or MCA with > 70%)

Requirements

* B.Tech / BE Computers or MCA (Other branches of engineering or M.Sc. Graduates NEED NOT APPLY for this round)
* Must have secured at least 70% starting Standard X thru B.Tech or MCA.
* Must have completed B.Tech / BE Computers or MCA in 2007, or 2008.
* Good aptitude, written and oral communication Skills.
* Strong fundamentals of Object Oriented Programming.
* Must have knowledge of Core Java, JDBC, and JSP/Servlets.
* Must be proficient in SQL (Joins, Subqueries).
* Must know basic Linux commands and scripting is a plus.
* Need-based training will be provided in Object Oriented Analysis & Design, Hibernate, Web Services development, Unit testing multi-threaded applications with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit, DBUnit, Load and Performance profiling using tools such as Load Runner, Eclipse TPTP, J2EE Development with Eclipse WTP.

The Selection Process
The written test will contain five sections. Each section approximately takes 25 minutes unless otherwise stated. Each section has a predefined cut-off to determine if a candidate will be considered for the next round of selection process.

Section 1: Aptitude, Reasoning and English Language skills (one hour)
Section 2: Java Language Programming Skills
Section 3: SQL and Database Skills
Section 4: SQA and Testing Skills
Section 5: Operating Systems and Networking Concepts

Study Reference

* Java Language Programming Skills: Follow the SCJP Certification Guides. Exclude the chapters on AWT and Swing. Concentrate on packages such as java.lang, java.net, java.sql, java.io, java.util (specifically Java Collections Framework). Refer to exam preparation websites such as www.javablackbelt.com
* Operating Systems and Software Engineering Concepts: Learn the basic Linux commands (cd, grep, find, regular expressions etc) and shell scripting (if, for, do while loops etc). Refer to Software Development Life cycle and specifically Testing related chapters in your favorite software engineering text book.
* Any GMAT or CAT exam study guide for Aptitude, Critical reasoning, English. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON SHAKUNTALA DEVI OR GEORGE SUMMER OR MUGGING UP THE HIGH FREQUENCY WORDS. THIS IS NOT JUST ANOTHER WRITTEN TEST.
