Applications are invited for filling up the posts of Assistant Commandants in ITBP.

Last date for receipt of application is 8th February 2008 (08/02/2008) for all States except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti Distt. and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba Distt of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which last date is 15/02/2008).

1. Assistant Commandant (Transport) : 06 posts (UR-4, OBC-1,SC-1),
Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-
Age : 21-30 years
Qualification : Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (with automobile as one of the subject) or Automobile engineering from a recognised institute

2. Assistant Commandant / Assistant Surgeon (Veterinary) : 05 posts [/b][/color](UR-2, OBC-2,SC-1)
Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-
Age : 35 years
Qualification : Bachelors Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from a recognised University

3. Assistant Commandant (Engineer) : 12 posts (UR-7, OBC-2,SC-2, ST-1)
Pay Scale : Rs. 8000-13500/-
Age : 30 years
Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised Institute

Fee : Application Fee will be Rs. 50/- for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC/ST. The candidates would attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Bank Draft drawn in the name of Accounts Officer, Directorate General, ITBP, New Delhi.
