Job Description
# Proactively diagnose, QA, Bug fix and make the sites compatible for the new platform.
# Part of a migration team which would be migrating huge base of customers from legacy to the new platform.
# Work on the inbuilt tools for Migration, QA and bug fixing.
# Report Global issues and find solutions for day today relation issues with respect to migration.
# Work on customer affecting tickets and escalation issues. Be the top most layer of escalation for migration related issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
Skill Set Required:
(Unix side)
1) Operating System: Unix
2) Programming Knowledge: Good knowledge of Per l, Php, CGI (Mason knowledge is an advantage but not necessary.)
3) Database: Good knowledge of MySQL
4) Mail System: Exim, Qmail
5) Web server: Good knowledge of Apache

(Windows side)
1) Operating System: Windows
2) Programming knowledge: ASP / Dotnet
3) Database: MSSql, Access
4) Web server: IIS

Good knowledge of above programming languages is essential. Prior knowledge of Scripting, testing, QA and bug fixing is a big plus. Fresher with BE background, good academic record and good programming skill can also apply.
