Upper Age Limit (As on 1st April 2006) : For posts at serial no. 1, 2 and 5 the age limit is; Gen : 30 yrs., OBC : 33 yrs. & SC/ST : 35 yrs. For posts at serial no. 3 & 4 the age limit is Gen : 32 yrs., OBC : 35 yrs. & SC/ST : 37 yrs.
Bond Period: For all posts except Medical Officer - to serve for a minimum period of 50 months.
Emoluments : For Management Trainees : Rs. 13,296/- during training (appox.) Regular scale of pay after training Rs. 10,750-16,750/- (E-2 grade). For GDMO : Scale of pay : Rs. 10,750-16,750/- (E-2 grade). Total emoluments at minimum basic Rs. 16,619/- (appox.) as on 01/12/05.

The online registration site would remain open from 27th Nov.’2006 to 18th Dec.’2006. All information regarding examination schedule etc. shall be provided through email. Intimation regarding the admit card will be sent to the eligible candidates through email. In addition, the admit card along with sample questions shall also be sent by post to the address provided. Coal India will not be responsible for any loss of email / admit card sent, due to invalid/wrong email ID / Wrong Address / delays / loss in transit etc.
