Uzanto (www.uzanto.com) is a Silicon Valley based software products startup. We have a development center in New Delhi, which is involved in building global scale, world class web applications, using cutting edge web technologies.

We have recently launched a Web 2.0 application called SlideShare (www.slideshare.net). This is a global website for sharing presentations on the web.

Last year we launched another application called MindCanvas (www.themindcanvas.com), which is a web based research software. It is a mashup of online surveys & online games and is also an innovative, one of its kind software product.

Our clients include some of the big software/internet companies in Silicon Valley.

This is a software products company where you will be doing real product development, not a services company doing different client projects.

Job Description
You will be involved in the all aspects of running global scale, world class web applications- designing, developing, coding, testing, scalability, stabalization etc. This woud include
- cutting edge server side technologies like Ruby-on-Rails, MySQL,Linux , FreeBSD, XML, Java, PHP
- frontend technologies like AJAX, FLASH, Actionscript, Javascript
- cutting edge web infrastructure management services like Amazon Web Services (S3 & EC2).

This is very a challenging assignment; you will learn to shoulder a lot of responsibilities very early in your career. Involves working in a small but highly integrated & motivated team

Desired Profile
Preferred candidate profile -
- BE/BTech in Computer Science
- 0-3 years of web development experience
- bright freshers are welcome
- people with special interest in Web2.0, blogs, RSS et al are preferred
- people with interest in open source technologies are preferred

We are looking for bright & enthusiastic people, with zeal to explore and learn the latest technologies. People who have demonstrated the ability to undertake innovative, independent projects & assignments (outside the purview of their academic or professional work) are preferred.
