RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER)

Applications are invited from MALE INDIAN CITIZENS for filling up of 35 posts of SUB-INSPECTOR (OVERSEER) Group ‘C’ in ITB Police from Indian citizens in the pay scale of Rs. 5500—175—9000/- plus usual allowances as admissible to the Central Government employees from time to time and Ration Money, Washing Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance while posted in specified border areas, free accommodation or HRA, LTC, and any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time under the rules/instructions. The selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad. They will be governed by ITBPF Act & Rules.

AGE: Between 20 to 25 years (Cut off date 31st August 2007)

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION :
Matric or equivalent with Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government.

APPLICATION FEES :
All candidates belonging to General & OBC category should furnish a crossed Indian Postal Order or Bank Draft worth Rs. 50/- drawn in favour of the ACCOUNTS OFFICER, DIRECTORATE GENERAL, ITB POLICE, NEW DELHI alongwith their application. SC/ST candidates are exempted from application fee.

The eligible and interested candidates may send their Applications (as per Annexure ‘A”) and Candidate’s Admission Cards (as per Annexure ‘B’) duly filled in on 8″X14″ size paper typed or neatly hand written as per proforma given alongwith attested copies of following documents. Candidates should write the name of post in BLOCK LETTERS on the envelope. Two self-addressed envelops of 4″x9″ size with Rs. 5/- postage stamps affixed should also be attached.

Application Form (Annexure ‘I’) along with Candidate’s Admission Card (Annexure ‘II’) and attested copies of requisite documents/testimonials should be sent by the candidates so as to reach the DEPUTY INSPECTOR GENERAL (ENGR), DIRECTORATE GENERAL, INDO-TIBETAN BORDER POLICE, BLOCK-2, CGO COMPLEX, LODI ROAD, NEW DELHI-110003 on or before the last date, positively. Government shall not be held responsible for any postal delay. Application received after the closing date or received unsigned/incomplete/without requisite certificates etc. will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained. Application must be filled either in Hindi or English only.
